With a background in sport science, strength and conditioning, and education, Matt combines evidence-based training with practical coaching experience to help athletes and everyday individuals improve performance, movement quality, and confidence.
Holding a Bachelor of Coaching Science (University of Canberra), a Master of Exercise Science – Strength & Conditioning (Edith Cowan University), and a Master of Educational Studies (University of Queensland), Matt brings a unique blend of performance coaching and teaching expertise to every program. He is also an ASCA Level 2 Strength & Conditioning Coach and accredited Athletics Australia Coach.
Through namuh.ATG, the focus is simple: practical coaching, smarter programming, and helping people train with purpose.

Do I need prior experience to take this course?
No prior experience is required.
This course is designed to teach you how to structure training from the ground up. Whether you’re new to program design or already training yourself or others, the focus is on building clear, practical systems you can apply immediately. -
Is this course suitable for coaches or just individuals?
It’s designed for both.
Coaches, personal trainers, and teachers can use it to improve how they design and deliver programs. Individuals can use it to better understand their own training and remove guesswork when planning their week. -
Will I be able to create my own training programs after completing the course?
Yes — that’s the goal.
By the end of the course, the goal is to be able to structure a simple, weekly training plan and build a simple 4–8 week program based on clear principles, not random workouts. It is always important consult with your health professional before commencing any new training plan. Also, face to face coaching will help weed out poor technique too. -
Does this course include specific programs or just theory?
It focuses on practical application, not just theory.
You’ll learn the principles behind effective training, then apply them by building your own structured programs. The aim is to give you a system you can reuse, not just a one-off plan.
