The program
Summer Series All Rounder is a six-week mixed-training program for experienced recreational exercisers who enjoy variety. It combines whole-body strength, running, rowing, cross-training and recovery in one organised sequence.
The program is deliberately broader and denser than the other Summer Series options. It suits someone who is comfortable training independently, using multiple pieces of gym equipment and managing effort across five to six weekly activity days. The goal is well-rounded fitness, not preparation for one sport or event.
Who is this program for?
Experienced recreational gym users who enjoy both strength and conditioning.
People who can manage five to six activity days while protecting recovery.
Independent trainers comfortable with barbells, common gym machines, rowing and running.
People who want variety inside a planned block rather than unrelated workouts.
What will you work on?
Four progressive whole-body strength sessions
Running, rowing and non-running intervals
Four cross-training sessions and mixed challenges
Strength, endurance, rowing and running benchmarks
How the program progresses
Weeks 1-2: establish the weekly rhythm across strength, running, rowing and cross-training.
Week 3: consolidates the opening strength sessions while extending selected conditioning work.
Weeks 4-5: introduce progressive strength sessions and the broadest mixed-training workload.
Week 6: reduces the workload, completes a final challenge and repeats the starting tests.
